atNorth Earns ISO45001 for Health & Safety

 


atNorth, the prominent Nordic provider of colocation, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence services, has recently announced its attainment of ISO45001 accreditation and the expansion of its ISO certifications in pursuit of ongoing business enhancement.


The company has successfully obtained full ISO45001 certification for its occupational health and safety management system, and has broadened its ISO14001 certification for environmental management to encompass its newer data centers. Furthermore, atNorth has extended its ISO27001 certification for information security management as part of the acquisition of Gompute in 2023, aligning these facilities with atNorth's existing ISO certifications.


ISO45001 is an internationally recognized standard that outlines requirements for an occupational health and safety management system. It offers a structured approach for organizations to manage risks, enhance OH&S performance, and showcases atNorth's dedication to promoting the mental and physical well-being of employees while establishing a strong safety foundation in the workplace.


Key aspects of the accreditation involve ensuring safe work practices through instruction, training, and monitoring of knowledge and skills, the mandate to report incidents, accidents, and observations of deficiencies, frameworks for thorough and consistent risk and hazard assessments, and fostering transparent and open stakeholder communication to ensure employee safety and business continuity.
