HydroX AI Secures $4M, Launches EPASS

 


HydroX AI, a startup specializing in artificial intelligence (AI), has recently secured a $4 million angel round of funding from Vitalbridge Capital, Atom Capital, and renowned AI expert Qi Lu, EVP of Microsoft and former COO of Baidu. This investment will enable HydroX AI to continue innovating in the field of large language model (LLM) safety and further their goals of entering the market.


The funding comes at a time when the LLM AI market is experiencing rapid growth. It is projected that global LLM revenue will reach $260 billion by 2030. However, this growth also brings about increased safety and security risks. HydroX AI has discovered that a typical LLM can be vulnerable to attacks and compromise within just three months of its release, necessitating constant updates to security measures. As a result, HydroX AI recognizes the significant need and potential in the AI Trust, Risk, and Security Management (AI TRiSM) sector.


According to Ben, a partner at Vitalbridge Capital, the integration of artificial intelligence into society is only just beginning. This integration raises concerns beyond privacy and security, encompassing ethics, learning, and mental effects. Looking ahead, security will play a crucial role, not only for protection but also as a foundation for the growth of AI.
