DJI Completes Drone Delivery Tests on Everest

 

DJI collaborated with Airlift, 8KRAW, and Mingma Gyalje Sherpa to conduct the world's first successful delivery drone trials on Mount Everest. The trials, completed in April, showcased the capabilities of DJI FlyCart 30 in extreme altitude and environmental conditions. The drone successfully transported 15kg payloads, including oxygen bottles and supplies, from Everest Base Camp to Camp 1. This milestone in aviation has the potential to revolutionize Everest mountaineering logistics and enhance safety for all involved.
