AIMobile Unveils Qualcomm-Powered Edge AI Box

 


AIMobile is proud to announce the launch of its latest Edge AI product, the AIM-Edge QC01. Our goal with this product is to make Edge AI technologies accessible to a wider range of applications and empower users with entry-level computing power. The AIM-Edge QC01 is powered by the Qualcomm® QCS6490 processor and comes with multi-OS support and USB/LAN ports for camera connection. Its compact and fanless design makes it easy to implement and suitable for various application scenarios.


Drawing on our nearly decade-long expertise in Edge AI, we have also included market-proven AI models to help our partners shorten their time to market. You can see the AI Edge Box in action at Qualcomm Technologies' booth (#161, Hall 5, NurnbergMesse) at Embedded World. In addition to the box form factor, we are also offering a system on module (SOM) based on the QCS6490 processor.


The QCS6490 processor is specifically optimized for IoT solutions. With the Qualcomm® Kryo™ 670 CPU and a Qualcomm® Hexagon™ processor featuring an AI-accelerator architecture, it delivers powerful connections and computing performance. It is purpose-built for industrial and commercial IoT applications. By adopting the QCS6490, the QC01 achieves an impressive NPU speed of up to 2.7 GHz and accelerates combined AI performance up to 13 TOPS. Furthermore, it offers the advantage of low power consumption and a long-life cycle compared to similar products in the industry.
