Paymentus Solution Validated by Oracle Health
Paymentus Holdings Inc. (NYSE: PAY), a prominent billing and payments solution provider, has successfully validated its Paymentus Patient Billing and Payments stack through Oracle Health's developer program. This validation enables Paymentus to connect to the Oracle Health electronic health record (EHR) system. The Oracle Health developer program, named code, rigorously reviews the security, operational, and functional aspects of third-party applications connecting to the EHR via Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR) APIs.
This collaboration empowers healthcare providers relying on
Oracle Health to enhance patient care and management. They can now integrate
advanced billing, payment, and disbursement capabilities, improving the patient
experience and practice performance.
Dushyant Sharma, Founder and CEO of Paymentus, highlighted
the significance of this integration, emphasizing how it allows providers to
confidently adopt their billing and payment solutions within the Oracle
healthcare ecosystem.
Paymentus' platform, known for its seamless billing and
payment experience, aligns with the elevated customer service expectations of
healthcare consumers. The Paymentus Instant Payment Network® (IPN) encompasses
more than 1,900 utility providers, local governments, businesses, and financial
institutions nationwide, offering a unified SaaS customer bill-pay experience.
In an era where payment flexibility is crucial for
healthcare consumers, Paymentus supports a wide range of payment methods and
channels. Healthcare providers can accept online, mobile, IVR, text, kiosk,
point of sale, and agent-assisted payments, enhancing consumer satisfaction.
Moreover, Paymentus can disburse funds through these channels, reducing the
need for check-based disbursements.
The collaboration with Oracle Health extends Paymentus'
integrations within Oracle Industries' platforms and solutions. Earlier,
Paymentus achieved validation across Oracle Energy and Water CIS solutions,
strengthening its position as an innovative provider of billing and payment
solutions.
Paymentus will also participate in the Oracle Health
Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, from September 18-20, 2023.
Paymentus, with over 1,900 billers and financial
institutions across North America, offers cloud-based bill payment technology
and solutions. Its omni-channel platform provides consumers with secure and
flexible electronic bill payment experiences, catering to their preferred
payment channels.
This partnership underscores the commitment to creating an
open, interoperable healthcare ecosystem that enhances the patient experience
and reduces administrative burdens for healthcare providers and staff.
