SUNRATE Introduces Apple Pay for Commercial Cards

SUNRATE, a smart global payment and treasury management platform, is excited to announce that it now offers Apple Pay to its customers. With Apple Pay, customers can enjoy a safer and more secure way to make payments, all while using the power of their iPhone to protect each transaction.

According to Qincheng Wang, Head of Product at SUNRATE, businesses are increasingly looking for the same level of convenience and security in their professional transactions as they do in their personal ones. That's why SUNRATE is thrilled to bring Apple Pay to its customers, even though it is primarily known as a global B2B payment platform.

Using Apple Pay is simple. Customers just need to double-click the side button, authenticate themselves, and hold their iPhone or Apple Watch near a payment terminal to make a contactless payment. They can also use Apple Pay on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac to make quick and convenient purchases in apps or on the web without the hassle of creating accounts or repeatedly entering shipping and billing information. Every Apple Pay purchase is secure because it is authenticated with either Face ID, Touch ID, or a device passcode, along with a unique dynamic security code that is generated for each transaction.

Security and privacy are of utmost importance with Apple Pay. When customers use their credit or debit card with Apple Pay, their actual card numbers are not stored on the device or on Apple servers. Instead, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted, and securely stored in the Secure Element, a certified chip that is designed to keep payment information safe on the device.
