TurbineOne Raises $15M in Series-A Round

TurbineOne Inc., a leading company in government Machine Learning (ML) that is user-friendly and prioritizes edge computing, announced today that it has secured $15 million in funding during its Series-A round. The round is being led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from previous investors The General Partnership and XYZ Ventures. Additionally, Pallas Ventures, an investment firm focused on national security, has also joined this funding round.

The venture funding will be utilized to expedite the company's growth in national security markets, as the Defense Department adopts ML solutions to navigate the complexities of modern warfare. TurbineOne's Frontline Perception System (FPS) is designed to cut through the overwhelming amount of data and provide quick insights by automating threat recognition and alerting decision-makers using advanced ML techniques. The software refines raw data feeds through a user-friendly interface that can be operated by warfighters themselves, even in challenging battlefield conditions where connectivity, bandwidth, and cloud access are limited and risky.

"With the support of a visionary and daring team of investors, TurbineOne will continue its mission to equip American service members with a competitive edge," stated Ian Kalin, Co-Founder and CEO of TurbineOne. "The innovators at TurbineOne have extensive experience in serving our nation, and we take pride in delivering a toolset that enhances mission accomplishment and reduces operational risks."
